Dharuhaar Rural women mentorship Project

The Savoir Faire Company in collaboration with the Dharuhaar Foundation is bringing the multi award winning project for sustainable change and economic independence to women in Barmer, Rajasthan.

The project provides mentorship, training and skill development to the women and helps them become economically independent.

Another important milestone for us! Last week we began our award winning mentorship program for the women artisans in and around the villages near Barmer, Rajasthan.

The Savoir Faire Company will be working with Sh Santosh ji, Smt Gauri and Sh Praveen of the Dharuhaar Foundation.

A group of 510 women artisans are going to be trained and mentored in the first batch as well as help given to set up their businesses.

Our Chairperson, Lata Gullapalli, has been in Barmer, Rajasthan working with Dharuhaar on the modalities and also visiting the villages and meeting the women. She spent time there listening to them and explaining the way we will be working with them going forward.

We are very enthused, seeing already, the sustainable financial and social impact we will help them bring into their communities.

We at TSFC are so proud to be working with teams and collaborating with Trusts to bring about this sort of sustainable change to the rural communities. Being focused on results and working to find solutions to their problems has raised their own confidence and level of expectations for themselves.
