Client: KMC
Visual identity for the Gentry de Paris Revue at the Casino de Paris. Three posters were designed to promote the event: one for
the métro, one for kiosks
/general use, and one for the side of taxis. The posters' different sizes and formats necessitated a clear
and consistent treatment to create a unified graphic whole.

Left: Métro poster (400cm x 300cm, or 13ft x 9.75ft); Right: poster in situ, hanging at a métro station. (Photo taken with iPhone, hence wacko color.)

Above: Taxi poster (170cm x 47cm, or 5.5ft x 1.5ft); Below: poster in situ, stuck to the side of a Parisian taxi.

Left: Kiosk/General use poster (40cm x 60cm, or 15.75" x 23.625"); Right, poster in situ, hanging in a café window.

Casino de Paris by night, posters flanking both entrances on the rue de Clichy (Sept. 2009).

Contest submission: CityRacks Design Competition
Our proposal aims to provide not just attractive and convenient bike racks for cyclists, but also to create greater engagement by
making the racks useful to non-cyclists as well.

The plastic caps on the top loop of the racks brand the racks with embossed and stickered text, using color to reinforce the NYC
Cycling Map’s routes and paths. There are currently 3 colors being used on the NYC Cycling Map and as new routes are created,
we envision adding more colors to the palette. Color is significant because it can help riders quickly identify which route or path
they find themselves on.

The rack or rack cluster’s caps have a unique identifying number which can be used to access important cycling and route info.
Dialing into the system with a mobile device, a user inputs a code which returns a url that links to Google Maps with a NYC Cycling
Map overlay. The code provides the exact geoposition of the bike rack, giving the user his/her exact location on the map. This data
will be cycling-focused at first, but eventually can be rolled out to include local history, nearby landmarks and parks. The rack will
serve as information hotspot and cultural ambassador.
